LUCCHETTI Gino P. Jr. (Guido), was taken to heaven on November 26 at the age of 36. He was born on August 5, 1978 in Newton, MA ("The Lake"). Gino leaves behind his beloved parents, Gino and Louise Lucchetti, two adoring brothers, Louis Paul Lucchetti, Michael Lucchetti and his sister- in-law Glenda Lucchetti and his nephew and godson Dante. Grandmother, Pasqualina Lucchetti, Aunts and Uncles, Joanne Smith, Loretta and Jay Busa, Anthony and Nancy Pellegrini, Louie Pellegrini, Anne-Marie Pellegrini, Linda and Dan Anderson, Larry Lucchetti, Mario and Kelly Lucchetti, Anna and Brian Riffe and a loving girlfriend, Lisa Gallinelli. Grandson of those he is with in heaven, Anthony "Fats" Pellegrini, Joanne "Mac" Pellegrini, and Pasquale Lucchetti. Services will be held at Magni Funeral Home, 365 Watertown Street, NEWTON, MA 02458. Sunday, November 30th from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday December 1st from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 2nd at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady’s Parish in Newton. Burial to follow in Newton Cemetery. Throughout Gino’s life he has been a dedicated philanthropist in support of two amazing organizations, The Nonantum Children’s Christmas Party Association and The John M. Barry Boys and Girls Club of Newton. In Lieu of flowers his family requests that a donation be made to either organization in honor of his life. Local Heroes

Anthony "Fat" Pellegrini - Local philanthropist and neighborhood activist who is still a driving force in the community to this day.

Joanne C. Pellegrini (Marchione) - Wife of Anthony "Fat" Pellegrini. Also a philanthropist, neighborhood activist, and mother of seven whose reputation was one of unconditional love for the people of the Lake. Hawthorn Park, aptly built facing Hawthorn Street, was renamed to the Joanne C. Pellegrini Memorial Playground in honor of our late beloved matron.

Joseph A. DeNucci - A middleweight professional boxer who won the most middleweight bouts in the Boston Garden and served as the State Auditor of Massachusetts for 24 years.
